What insurance coverage are unit owners required to have?

Click here for an overview prepared by our Association insurance provider that explains what coverage unit owners are required to have in addition to what the Association provides. It is recommended that all Oakmont Villa residents carry at least $25,000 in Loss Assessment coverage. Due to the nature of the insurance industry, the Association's deductible is $1,000,000 if a wind/hail storm hits Oakmont Villas. To cover that $1,000,000 each home owner would be assessed approximately $11,363 to cover their share of that deductible (88 condos divided into $1,000,000 is $11,363 per condo).

Current Approved & Pending Projects

In 2023 and 2024 the Board of Directors removed 20+ dead ash trees, addressed deferred landscaping care, and performed immediate building or grounds repairs that needed to be made for safety and security reasons.
