What insurance coverage are unit owners required to have?

Click here for an overview prepared by our Association insurance provider that explains what coverage unit owners are required to have in addition to what the Association provides. It is recommended that all Oakmont Villa residents carry at least $25,000 in Loss Assessment coverage. Due to the nature of the insurance industry, the Association's deductible is $1,000,000 if a wind/hail storm hits Oakmont Villas. To cover that $1,000,000 each home owner would be assessed approximately $11,363 to cover their share of that deductible (88 condos divided into $1,000,000 is $11,363 per condo).
Current Approved & Pending Projects

During the Spring and Summer 2026, the overgrown junipers in rock gardens will be removed and decorative rock added. Work will also begin to repair sidewalk and entryway trip hazards and these will be addressed beginning with those with the highest priority.
